John Elliott was born Juan Dancing-Bear Miguel O'Rourke Elliott, later abbreviating his name to John Elliott for acting purposes. He came into existence in the early 1980's in the small village of San Juan, on the Texas/Mexico border. God decided that he would be born to a proud Irish American father and a half-Cherokee, half-Mexican mother. John was an only child.  

John spent the first ten years of his life in San Juan, however when his Mother died in an untimely horse shoeing accident, his Father left and never returned. So the kind nuns of the nearby Catholic orphanage decided to ship John off to their sister convent in Europe. From the age of ten until the age of sixteen John went to school and worked in a Catholic convent in the Italian alps of central Europe. While at the convent, John learned to speak nine languages fluently including a rare dialect of "Watutsi" a central African tribe. During his time there, John became an expert in horse riding, mountain climbing, fencing, acrobatics, flamenco dancing, bohdran and also bagpipes. When his studies were over, John put on his backpack and traveled around Europe and Asia, making friends wherever he went.  

At the age of twenty, John became first mate on a cargo ship out of Sri Lanka, which afforded him the opportunity to see many exotic ports-o-call in the far east. This point in time of John’s life is less well documented, however it is known that according to the governments of Australia, Papua New Guinea and Fiji, John was involved in several acts of what they termed "Piracy". These accusations can be neither confirmed nor denied. But what is known, is that John accumulated a small fleet of Japanese fishing vessels during this time. A quaint side note to this point in John's life, the Japanese fisherman that work for him have dubbed him, "Yakatori Dintsi Katsum Atsu Toyota Truck", which of course in Japanese means," Bold Captain with the Heart of a Toyota Truck".  

John decided to return to America in 2002. As fate would have it, he made port in Los Angeles. He became incurably fascinated with acting and found that it suit his nature quite well. He pursed it, and after being blessed with several starring roles in several award winning movies, he decided that it was actually what he had been born to do. John still pursues his gypsy/ bohemian/ acting/ traveling lifestyle to this day. He is now twenty-nine and resides in Los Angeles.
